Sired by Barely A Moment, an impressive stallion who was honored in the Horse Of The Year awards in Y5 and Y6 as a racehorse, and as a sire in Y17. His achievements include winning the Dubai Colt Cup, the Breeder's Cup Mile and the Dubai World Cup. His progeny include Sizzling Dawn and Uno Momento.
Out of Smarty's Dream, a G3 mare who struggled to shine on the track but has gone on to prove herself as an impressive broodmare with her current foals being highlighted by the Y18 Miler of The Year, Sweet Dreams (G1); she is also the dam of quickly improving G2 Indigo Dream and juvenile Ivonette.

- Smarty's Dream is a daughter of Smarty Jones, the records of whom have been lost. His only other known foal, Paradox, was unraced but is the sire of Magic Millions-winning juvenile, Without A Trace.
- Livin' The Dream was a grade one racehorse whose most successful foal to date is G1 Once Upon A Dream who won the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and the Dubai Fillies' Cup. Through her, she is the granddam of G1 Dreaming Of Glory and G1 First Class.
Blossom is a filly with a strong, independent personality and nothing is going to take that away from her - you either do things her way or no way at all meaning that she will chase you off, or simply plant her hooves and refuse to move if she isn't satisfied that things are just right. In truth, however, she is just a creature of habit - best to do something the same way time and time again than try to shake things up too much.
There are a few things that everyone needs to know when it comes to working with her. The first is that she hates her ears being touched and while she will toss her head as a warning if this is ignored she does lash out. The other is that she nips when the girth is tightened, often planting a well aimed bite on the person's butt if they aren't paying close attention (or, ideally, have someone there to hold her head for this part).
Blossom is at her happiest in the pasture surrounded by other mares and can often be found in the center of the herd in the field when she isn't running around playing with more energetic members.

Leg Type: Preceder/Mid-Pack
Blossom loves the track, and almost becomes a different horse with her willing attitude and focus. In the parade ring she is up on her toes, head held high as she prances about - ears forward, eyes bright and alert.
Once on the track she loads nicely and breaks sharply at the start of the race. Here, she could easily fly forwards but the jockeys have been instructed to keep her in check and sit her somewhere in the middle of a pack - neither at the front, nor too far from the leaders and keep her there for the majority of the race, allowing her to go forwards around four furlongs out before driving her home in the stretch.
This is where Blossom shines. This willing filly loves to run and has a great turn of foot, often bringing herself close the the front runners before the last stretch where she fully opens up and shows her fiery spirit. Nothing will hold her back.
