When Alexia saw Reckoning for sale, a filly from auspicious bloodlines, she was quick to tell Chris she would never speak to him again if he didn't at least try to bring her home. Upon arriving, she quickly earned herself a nickname - The Queen, or Queen for short - due to her sheer attitude.
The Queen is a cold, calculated filly. When she looks at a person with those intelligent eyes it is as if she is taking in every aspect of that person and getting a measure for them. She is very distant, never really bonding with the people who work with her although she won't say no to a bit of a fuss; a carrot; or even a bit of licorice. In the pasture, she is a definite leader and doesn't let other horses forget it as she is often seen putting others in their place.
When it comes to work, you will be hard pressed to find a more eager horse. She loves to run - on the track, on trails, on the beach - no matter where you take her she is always eager to get moving. The problem you have is holding her back.

Leg Type: Stalker/Mid
Queen thrives in the competitive environment of racing day and takes the chance to show off in the pre-race parade - head high, ears forward, movement forward yet easy. Every so often she will stare directly at a member of the crowd, but for the most part she is taking in her environment, and her competition.
She gates well, and breaks strongly at the start of the race before finding her place on the field - either tucked just behind the front-runner(s) or further back, just ahead of the closers depending on the pace and lay of the field. She is remarkably calm throughout the race and isn't easily pressured meaning that her jockey can focus on giving her the correct positioning and timing rather than on holding her back.
When she is asked to make her move, there is no stopping her. She is bold as brass, with a heart of fire and untamable spirit. She will run with the best, liking to look her competitors in the eye. Better hold your breath, this filly likes to make it close!
